As you are aware, this is certainly an exciting time for EMS in the Commonwealth. The signing of New EMS Act 37 on August 18, 2009 was a monumental event and will be a positive opportunity for all of us as we approach the future in our profession.
Part of our future, includes the preparation of a NEW State EMS Plan. The Plan will act as a framework to define statewide, regional and local EMS system goals and objectives for the next 3 to 10 years.
We need your assistance with concepts for the development of the State Plan.
We have created an online survey tool for you to use to assist us. The online "zoomerang" survey uses the EMS System components in an effort to organize and compile the responses. The information you provide will be reviewed and discussed to assist in the development of a comprehensive State Plan for Pennsylvania's EMS system. We welcome and encourage your participation.
